About SPANNER
SPANNER'S program works through a "membership club" atmosphere to improve social skills, independence, and community integration. The organization is divided into two clubs.
SPANNER'S Under 21 Club consists of members between the ages of 15-21. This group meets two Friday nights a month at our clubhouse and one Saturday afternoon out in the community. The volunteers for this club come from area high schools and colleges, and the leaders are professionals in their twenties.
SPANNER'S Over 21 Club
is made up of young adults in their twenties who have graduated from high school. Their mentors are professionals in their twenties. The Over 21 Club meets once a month at the clubhouse on a Friday night, and has several hanging out nights in the community during the week.
